When I bought MS Office Student edition, I was indeed a student at the time
and the product was succesfully activated. My old PC is no longer cutting the
mustard, so I am keen to build a more powerful computer system as I'm now
using it for other things besides word/excel (e.g. AV editing). This PC will
have a new mobo, CPU, hard-drive and VGA. Although I have read on this
newsgroup that installations on newer PCs are allowed, what's not clear is
whether or not you still have to be a student at the time of re-activation.
To clarify, I'm no longer a student, and I want to install my previously
activated Office student edition on a completly new pc. Does this pose a
problem?
