Stupid Macro Question

So everything was going swimmingly this morning, cranking out a couple
of different macros that I'm going to be editing this afternoon, when I
realised I had forgotten to hit the RELATIVE REFERENCE button on the
Macro toolbar. Peeved, I deleted my macros, and went to start over
again - BUT WAIT!! WHERE'S MY MACRO RECORDER TOOLBAR????!!!!???? You
know the one - it magically pops up when you hit the RECORD MACRO
button - I can't find it anywhere!! I've looked on all my toolbar
areas, I've checked in all my Options/Tools/etc. menus, and I cannot
find it. For all the problems (challenges!!) that I've had this month,
this is by far the weirdest.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Much appreciated...
Chris

Don't know why it happened. But, have you tried leaving excel and coming
back. OR, re-boot?

I've tried everything I can think of - I've left excel, I've rebooted,
I've logged in as someone else - all to no avail....
Thanks for the suggestion....

Start recording a macro and then go into View, Toolbars, Customize. Select
"Stop Recording" and then close Custom and stop recording. I think the
toolbar will then appear/disappear as before. You never want to close the
toolbar manually while recording since Excel assumes you don't want it
anymore while recording.
