Stupid question?

I have what might turn out to be a stupid question. When
I hit the arrow key in Excel instead of just moving the
selected cell to the left or right it scrolls the whole
page to the left or right. Is this some setting somewhere
that I can't find?

Any help for an Excel illiterate would be great. Thanks!

Print screen and pause))
