If this is a Unicode symbol from a "full" Unicode font such as Arial
Unicode MS, make sure to apply the same font to the paragraph where the
STYLEREF is located.

As far as I know, you can't use the STYLEREF field to get anything but
text (or a paragraph number).

If you want to repeat an inline shape, bookmark it and then insert a
cross-reference to the bookmark.

thank you But I use (StyleRef) to get Heading Paragarphs from the text And I
use Non global Symbols.

Make sure that the style has been applied to the correct piece(s) of
text. Specifically, make sure that the style hasn't been applied to a
blank paragraph, that is, to a paragraph without any text in it. If the
STYLEREF is trying to display the text of such a paragraph, obviously it
would display nothing.

Example of blank paragraph:

Text here.¶
More text here wrapped
to the next line.¶
¶ <-- This is a blank paragraph.
New paragraph.¶
