Styles panel in word 2007

When I open Word 2007 I want the styles panel always on and embedded (not
floating) into the right side of the window.
Is there a setting for this?

The styles pane will remember whether it was open or not when you reopen
Word. So if you closed Word with it open, it should be open again when
you reopen Word.
The ability to embed task panes does not exist in 2007.
Depending on what you use the styles pane for, you might want to add the
following control to your Quick Access Toolbar: Office button, Word
Options, Customize, select "Popular Commands" (selected by default when
you click on Customize) and find the command labeled "Style" (notice
that it is singular!). This will give you back the style combobox from
Word 2003.

You can drag the Styles pane by the title bar to the right edge of your
screen. At first, It may appear to continue to float but keep dragging, it
will eventually dock along the right edge.

I think embed=dock. ;-)

I do dock it (yeap! that's the right word) but I have to do it every time I
open Word. I want to keep it there permanently, but it can't be done as
Patrick says :-(
