Sub Form Row Heights

Graham Naylor

Hi,

I've got a form that will contain a subform with entries by date (a bit like
a diary). There is a a date field and a memo field to hold the data relating
to this date.

The number of lines of data will vary from one date to another, is it
possible (and how) to vary the height of the memo field (and the detail
section of the subform) line by line?

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi,

I've just read Bruce's reply and I'm a bit confused. You
can change the properties of the Detail section of a Subfor
to 'can grow' or to 'can shrink' together with any of the
controls situated within the Detail section. Just
double-click on the square box to the left of the 'Detail'
header-bar and view the properties under the 'Format' tab.

Although you can set the properties, they will have no effect in "Form" view.
This property setting doesn't come into play until you actually *print* the
form.
