sub-report problem

Hi,

I've created two reports, I would now like to combine them together so as to
create a master report. As such, I created a third report in which I
inserted each of the other reports as sub-reports. When it asked me define
links (child/parent) I put none. The 1st report is 11 pages and the 2nd is 4
pages. But when I generate my new master report I get a concatenated report
that has 1275 pages?! Can someone please help! Why is it not working?

Remove the main report's record source property.
