Sub Totals

I am sub-totaling a worksheet with three columns. Item #,
Description and Total Sold. At each change in Items # i
am summing the total units sold. This gives me the
results of 022000 Total, blank cell, 5 for example. I
would like to have the decription in the blank cell. I
have approximately 15,000 items that I am sub-totaling so
just copying down the Description is not too feasable.
Any suggestions?

If you just want to copy from the cell above, select the column with
description, press F5,
click special and select blanks, type =, press up arrow and then press ctrl
+ enter
