Sub web size limit?

How many files (or how large) can a subweb be? I have
heard anything from 10 files are max (which sounds crazy)
to it being an unlimited number. Or is there a limit in
megs. Is there any limit and what is it?

There are no hard and fast limits, but I'd suggest an
upper bound of 200 Web pages and 10MB. One half or one
third of that will be easier to work with. The slower your
Internet connection, the smaller you'll want your Webs to
be.

Opinions on this vary widely, so don't be surprised if you
get some different answers.

I was wondering. I have a sub web that is now 127MB and
growing rapidly. The fastest connection I get here is by
using ISDN. We normally edit directly on the web. It takes
a bit right after I log on but them things usually go
pretty smoothly. Lately I'm haveing trouble loading this
sub web. I enter my name and password and then nothing. I
eventually get a timeout error. The strange thing is that
there is no activity on the modom during this time unless
I do something else such as check e-mail. I'm inclined to
think it's something in the computer. I can usually get it
to load by loading the main web and then clicking on the
sub-web from there.
Thanks

Time to split it into small subweb or nested subwebs.
