Subform closes after form... subform searching for form controls

I have a form & subform.. Subform is tied to controls on the form. Close
button ...click ...then Parameter windows open looking for the controls that
the subform is tied to. Both close perfectly when the Close button from
the FILE CLOSE menu or the Close from my Custom Menu is selected. I
think I remember reading something back in the Access 2.0 days about this...
don't know what though. I'm sure I can SendKeys FILE CLOSE... but don't
realy want to. Oh ya, ..It did not do this during most of the design...
then just as I finished ... ! I even made a new form and copied over the
controls 1 at a time... I think I figured out what is going on... but don't
know how to fix it.. ps... I'm a non-coder. Thanks

YOu forgot to post what you think is going on to cause this issue..

What code is on the close button?
