Ok Guys, I will try and explain this as simply as I can.
I have a form which asks a question.
How many times have you done any of these things?
The answer options are a list of 10 separate answers, which need to have a
number inserted next to them for each of the answers.
ie.
played football 6
Played rugby 5
played tennis 3
now the answers are already set, so the question is only asking to fill in
the number of times next to the options given.
I think the answer is a sub form, but i run into 2 problems.
The first one is that when i link child field to master field, i link the
questionid of the amswer table to the questionid on the question table-- this
produces a sub form that does not show the answers! it only shows a new empty
datasheet with the column headers. This is where i feel like throwing the
machine out the window.
I want the sub form to show all the answers to that question, and an empty
field to be able to type numbers in.
This cannot be so difficult. In the relationship window, i have created a
many to many relationship to accomodate this but this dpesn;t work either. I
am clearly doing something wrong, so anybody out there who can help, please
help!
