Hi,
I am creating a database in Access 2003. The database records general
personal details and also when certain documentation has been sent out to
people. As part of my main data entry form there are two sections to record
when documentation was sent and if it has been returned etc. I want to have a
control button in each section that when clicked opens a subform to record
any identification documents that have been sent to me. I think a subform is
best because it needs to relate to the record currently being viewed in the
'main form'. I also need the subform to display the same name and documents
mailed details as are displayed at that time in the main form so the ID
document detials are recorded against the correct individual. The only way I
have managed so far is to put a subform on the main form and stop it being
visible but this isn't really an acceptable solution. Hope that makes sense,
any help welcome.
