Subgroups in this community

Some newsgroups (e.g. Word Numbering) are available through
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/ but are not available
through http://www.microsoft.com/office/community. Should they be visible at
both urls? Are my personal settings run amock?

What you are seeing is correct - or I should say that you are experiencing
the same as everyone else. Not all NGs are fully visible. You see them all
when using Windows Mail (OE) when connected directly to
msnews.microsoft.com.

As Terry says, what you're seeing, though not ideal or desirable, is
"correct." If you want to read NGs more efficiently (and given your frequent
presence here, I would imagine you might), you might want to be accessing
the msnews server directly via an NNTP newsreader such as Outlook Express or
Windows Mail instead of the Web interface. For setup instructions, see
