Hi,
I want to know if using Frontpage 2003, i can direct people's feedback to my
email account and also link it to a "thank you" page when they submit the
form they fill out.

How do i do both of them using Frontpage 2003?
Thanks

Yes.

Create a custom confirmation page like any other html page. Then in form properties, select your
"custom" confirmation page as your "Thank you page", and also set the email address you want the
form results sent to.

Make sure:
1. That the email address is one associated with your domain, such as [email protected]
2. Make sure your host has the form to email transport enabled.

Use the Form Wizard in FP2003 to do what you want.

Did you publish the site to the online server and test the form there?
- you can't test forms in your local pc disc based webs

| I tried that several times yesterday and but when I click the submit the form
| button then an error comes up saying: cannot run front pafe extensions server
| on this page. I am stuck here. Someone please help me out of this.
|
| Thanks

Open your online published web in FP and look in the _private folder

| This is what i did: i created a feedback form in Frontpage using the
| 'feedback form' template. In the form properties of the submit button, i
| types in the email adress i want the info to go to. the folder the info
| should be sent to is _private. that's the default one. do i chnage that? how
| do i view the info from that folder if it is getting saved there?
|
| yes, i tried on the server.
