Submit button is not working

I have been using InfoPath 2003 for about two hours, so I am an absolute
novice. I've created a form that employees will be completing to register
for an event that is offered at several different dates and times. All I
want/need to do at this point is to insert a button at the bottom of the
form, so that once the employees have completed the form, all they need to do
is to click on the button and the form will be sent to me via e-mail
(Outlook). I will be publishing the form to a shared drive on the network.
I published the form using the Publishing wizard. When I tested the Submit
button that I inserted, nothing happens (the form just remains on the
screen). Before publishing the form I went to Tools ==> Submitting Forms,
and inserted my email address. Can someone provide me with step-by-step
instructions on setting up the Submit button so that completed forms are
automatically sent to my email address -- remember, I'm a novice :) Thanks
in advanced (I needed to get this form out like yesterday).
