Whenever I click the submit button in order to send form information to my
e-mail address, two things happen: 1. The information is never sent to my
e-mail address and 2. the error 404 page pops up. How do I use the submit
button in Publisher?

David...Thanks for your response and the link to the archive. I have very
carefully followed the instructions about publishing my website in http and
not ftp. However, when I click on the Publish to web option and then type in
the url address for my website, two "messages" pop up, one after the other.
1. "Connecting to web server" lasts a couple of seconds and is then followed
by "Cannot find the url: http://....please check your typing. I assume that
the url is the web address as it is read when you view a website? Are you
able to help me figure this out?

Thanks very much for your time and effort!

Did you check your site to see if the FPSEs were activated? The instructions
are in the forms article. Also read the troubleshooting article in the other
link about uploading. It sounds like you are writing the HTP address
incorrectly. Double check the instructions, the path to your root directory,
and your password from your ISP. You wouldn't happen to be using IE7 would
you?

Hi again David and thanks again for your response!

"Did you check your site to see if the FPSEs were activated?"
Yes, the FPSEs are successfully activated
"You wouldn't happen to be using IE7 would you?"
I use Firefox
I will read the troubleshooting article and let you know what I learn from
that. Am I correct in assuming that the URL in the following step:

"In the File name box in the Publish to the Web dialog box, type the URL of
the Web or network server provided by your Web hosting service where you want
to save your Web site, and then click Save."

means my website address as it stands when the website is
visited...http://www.****.*** is the URL?
