I have a subreport linked to the main report by TrialID. The subreport is in
the detail section of the main report and the main report has two groupings.
One by Model Code and the other by TrialID2.
It's possible to have 2 or more TrialID’s linked to one TrialID2. What we
are doing is running trials on parts, so it’s possible to have multiple
trials per part. Part being TrialID2.
I can get a total of the material per TrialID but if there are more than one
for a part and I can’t get it to see the first one. I’m also using the
Running Sum in my main report to run the totals for the TrailID’s and it’s
not adding the first trial in.
Here’s an example.
Running Sum in the Detail Section of the main report will be at $170.81
Two records in the subreport will be link to one part; record one equals
$5.86
Second Record equals $5.85
My running sum should equal $ 182.52 its showing $176.69. I also think a
little rounding is going on too.
I’ve tried to total these two records under the TrialID2 footer section with
a running sum feature here as well, but I’m not having any luck. I’ve also
tried total the two within the report section of the subreport but that
didn’t work either.
Please let me know if you need more detail for this to make sense.
