Subweb???

I maintain a family website with information about my family, hobbies, etc.,
etc.

I keep my genealogy records in an application called Legacy. Legacy has a
function whereby it builds a website complete with list of surnames, index
of individuals, family tree charts, and the like.

My family website is www.name.org.

Legacy generates a website in a folder on my hard drive named FAMILY~1.

I would like to add this family tree to my family website but I'm not
certain how to do it.

Seems as though I have the following options:

-- Copy the folder FAMILY-1 to my website in FrontPage, publish, and hope it
works.

-- Set up a sub web in my family website and put the folder FAMILY-1 in that
sub web -- but -- how do I make a sub web?

-- And, it seems to be as though the website made by Legacy may not be
compatible with FP.

Anyone tried this??

Thanks.

I cannot comment about whether Legacy is compatible with FrontPage or not.

To make a subweb, open your website in FrontPage, create a new folder -
File->New and choose Folder.
Rename the folder, then right click it and choose "Convert to web"

When you publish. either publish just the subweb (open it by double
clicking the folder, which now has a blue globe on it) and publish to
http://www.example.com/family-1 where example.com is your domain name, and
family-1 is the name given to the subweb.

Alternatively, publish the main web but make sure the publish properties
has Publish subwebs ticked.
