Suddenly getting Error code 0x800CCC92 on 1 email account. Help!!

I've been away on holiday and when I came back I am having problems receiving
emails on one of my email accounts. A windows security box pops up and
although every thing is filled in it asks me to verify my network password.
I have re-entered the password repeatedly and ticked save but without
success. I get error code 0x800CCC92 ERR [SYS/TEMP] invalid mail box
directory. It is an intermittant error but is happening more and more. My
other account is fine. I can receive emails through webmail and have
contacted my isp and they say it is probably a problem with Outlook.

I have removed the account and re-set it up but to no avail.

I am using Outlook 2003, and have AVG Antivirus. I have tried disabling the
email scanner as suggested in some posts but this did not resolve the
problem. It is a POP3 account.

At the moment I have removed the account and am using webmail for it instead
because it is so anoying but still using Outlook for the other one.

Can anyone help?
