I have created many presentations using sound without a problem. The other
day I tried to edit a presentation feom someone else that had background
music and found that the sound wouldn't play. Investigating further, I tried
playing some of my own presentations with music that were saved to my hard
drive, and they won't play now either. As a next step, I tried creating a new
presentation. I can insert a sound effect from the drop down menu and it will
play, but if I select a sound file from my computer it will not. I have not
knowingly made any changes to my system so I'm stumped. Maybe someone else
has been there, done that, and figured it out?
