suddenly slow

My Outlook 2002 suddenly became very slow. It loads the
bottom pane after 30 seconds, and each item I click on
takes 10 - 20 seconds to appear. Opening an email also is
very slow. The program has worked for 2 years now. No
viruses present, and disc defrag done last night, but no
help.

Any ideas?
