I'd like to see an option that restores the menu system from previous
versions to work on Office 2007, particularly Access 2007.
I have many years invested in using the old menus and am uncomfortable and
irritated with the new. Maybe I'm just getting old and set in my ways. It
used to be that I looked forward to new versions, but I'm disliking this
newest version of Access. I keep looking for the file menu, for instance,
and keep forgetting about the Office Button.
When I write applications in Visual Studio, my clients expect me to hold to
the time-honored menu conventions established by Microsoft. I wish
Microsoft would.
