Hi all,
Quick (hopefully) question. There are some great Access templates on the
Microsoft site that I'd like to use. But a lot of it is overkill for my
purposes. Any suggestions on the best way to "lightly customize" one of these
templates? For instance, when I delete tables and fields I don't need, I
receive all sorts of parameter error messages and weird things begin to
happen.
While I know access pretty well, I am NOT a programmer...so I've been
reluctant to fiddle with the modules and coding. I just want to change a few
field names, add a few fields, maybe one or two tables (and I can establish
those relationships).
Which brings me to point 2. Is there a global search and replace function
that would propogate all tables, fields, and the code so that I can customize
these templates for my own needs?
I am using Access 2000, 2002 and 2003 (between home and work)
Thanks for any and all advice and happy holidays to all!
