Suggestions to Enhance PWA 2007 Views

G

Gary Zag

1. The list of fields that are available to be displayed seems to be
limited. Add all the default fields that are available.

2. Unable to create a "Resource Assignments" view that by default only
shows uncompleted work. To do this add the ability to specify a filter when
creating a "Resource Assignments" view.

I doubt you'll get any arguments from anyone that these are nice to haves,
but the best place to submit product feedback to Microsoft is at
http://connect.microsoft.com/ Of course, as members of the choir, we support
you!

Gary,

Thanks for the reply. I thought I was posting to the correct place because
I did a new "Suggestion to Microsoft". I have not used the
http://connect.microsoft.com/ site before. Where would I post this on that
site?

Also I see that my item 2 for filtering a Resource Assignments view was
fixed in the August 26, 2008 hotfix KB Article Number 956061. Do you
recomend this hotfix? Any word on when the next service pack will be out?

I agree with Gary. These nice to have options can really enahance PWA
functionalities. In the past I have suggested few enhancements at
conect.microsoft.com and you should post your invaluable suggestions
there. Hope this works for you too.
