I need to know how to round the sum of a cell up to the nearest 500. Can

Try something like this:
=ROUNDUP(SUM(A1:A100)/500,0)*500

Try this:
With
A1: (a number)
This formula rounds the value in A1 UP, in increments of 500
B1: =CEILING(A1,500)
