sum field not changing

For some reason my Cell 1 (grand total) is not changing
when i change change some numbers above. In Cell 1 I show
the addition of about 6 cells. In those 6 cells they are
summation formulas adding up other cells. When i change
those other cells to different numbers the summation cell
changes but my Cell 1 (grand total) doesn't change.
Please help asap. thanks!

could you please type in your reply what you actually see in the formula bar
when you click on the grand total cell.

cell a10 46441 (+a3+a7 formula)

when i change cell a6 (add another number) cell a7 changes
but cell a10 doesn't...if i change /type over a7 manually
then cell a10 changes. I don't get why. thanks for your
help.

if you have tools / options / calculation set to automatic then i'm sorry
but i've got no idea why this isn't working - but i have been told that you
should start all formulas with a = rather than a + as it can cause problems
(can't remember the exact problems).

hopefully someone else will have a better idea

Yeah i have that already..and i do have the = sign sorry
typed it wrong. Thanks for trying.

I agree with Julie it should work, but try changing A10 to
=Sum(A3,A7) and see if it helps.
