Hi Faizan

there's a formula on Chip Pearson's website for doing just this - i've
modified it for your specific request
=SUM(IF(WEEKDAY(A1-1+ROW(INDIRECT("1:"&TRUNC(A2-A1)+1)))=6,1,0))

it's an array formula so you need to enter it using control & shift & enter
and not just enter

to have a look at Chip's original formula and the theory behind it check out
http://www.cpearson.com/excel/DateTimeWS.htm
and the topic of
Number of Mondays in a Period

Hope this helps
Cheers

Install the Analysis Tool Pak, then use the NETWORKDAYS function. Help for
that function tells you how to install ATP.

I don't know what you mean by "removing the time", and the holiday list is
optional. Look at Help for the NETWORKDAYS function if you need more
information.
