I'm an Access newbie, so please excuse the rambling:
I imported two Excel worksheets, one for revenue and one for expense:
Revenue:
fund yr mo type amt
3000 03 01 11 1500
3000 03 02 11 1000
And expense
3000 03 01 22 480
3000 03 01 23 187
3000 03 02 22 420
3000 03 02 23 246
3000 03 02 24 90
When I join those two tables, this is the result:
