Sum totals

S

Sure

I have a Total of the first 3 columns and at the end of the row, i want to
have sum of these totals. For example, I have Totals in F8, J8, N8 and the
columns in between have the values. I am looking for a formula which would
skip the in between columns and given the sum of the totals (F8+J8,N8). I
used the Sum function and selected the cells individually but due to some
restriction, it says too many arguments. Please help

To sum F8,J8,N8 use =SUM(F8,J8,N8) OR try the below array formula to leave
values in between.

Please note that this is an array formula. Within the cell in edit mode (F2)
paste this formula and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter to apply this formula. If
successful in 'Formula Bar' you can notice the curly braces at both ends like
"{=<formula>}"

=SUM(IF(MOD(COLUMN(F8:N8),4)=2,F8:N8))
