SUMIF for variable cell range

P

Pantryman

Hallo Frank, Danke.

But the problem is that I first have to go back to the date closest t
today()-90,
then use that cell as a starting position for my SUMIF to do
subselection in that range for the types flown.
I can't figure that out, and don't know how to put your suggetion i
formula form.
Sorry, it's probably not very difficult but I don't see it.

could you suggest a formula?

Can you be more specific re "closest"? Do you mean the minimum absolute
difference between the data and TODAY()-90, regardless of whether that date is
too early or too late? IOW, if you can't get exactly 90 days, do want to
increase the time span or shorten it?
