Hi there,
I wondered whether someone can help me with this. The
scenario is as follows:
Column A B C D E F
$ $ $
a 1500 b 1500 a 2000
a 700 a 800 b 100
c 900 b 600 c 700
I want to know the total for say "a" in all columns B, D &
F. I know this can be done by adding the product of
individual SUMIF s applied. However what if this scenario
goes on to say column DZ, this waould produce an endless
impractical formula. The workbook can not be structured in
another way.... so I have to find this one and I am sure
it can be done.
Your help is apprciated.
Thanks in advance,
Brian
