Sumif

A

Andrew

I have two columns - Col A is 1 through 52, Col B is weekly sales figures.

I would like to sumif for multiple weeks, so if I wanted the sum of weeks 23
through 27 - how would I enter this in the criteria? or there is a better
way to do this?

There is already two cells where someone enters a starting week and ending
week for other calculations. These cells are named Start and End.

Thanx,
Andrew

Hi Andrew..........

I would use Data > Filter > Autofilter, and set the column filter to "Custom
greater than 22 AND less than 28".........then you could SEE the results as
well as sum them........

I have a related problem. Data in three columns. I would like to su
the products of column B and C entries where the corresponding column
entry matches a given criteria (thus, sumproductif).

E.g., if A contains days of the week (repeating for 10 weeks, in rows
through 70), B contains number of gallons of gasoline sold that day an
C contains price per gallon that day, I may want to know the tota
revenue from sales of gasoline on Mondays.

I know that I can just create a new column that is BxC and then us
sumif, but that seems too inelegant.

Thanks in advance
