Hello - I hope someone can help this Excel Dummy out. On the attache
spreadsheet I have two tabs - the tab marked Data is information
copied and pasted from another file. The second tab is where I woul
like to place a Summary of the data.
Across the top of the Data tab are account numbers. I have color code
the account numbers because they represent a category - each categor
needs to be summed together (I Corresponded the color coding onto th
Summary tab). The Summary tab shows what I need to see, each categor
totalled by whichever district the AFE # pertains to.
There are only 5 different AFE #'s listed, but each time I import thi
data, the number of afe's will grow (3 lines per afe#), and over tim
to a max of 250 afe#'s (total of 750 lines). I would like the formula
to include up to 750 lines, so that the summary sheet automaticall
does the calculations whether copy and paste 100, 150, etc. up to 25
AFE's.
The column headings will never change, only the number of rows. Thos
items not colored will not be used in the summary.
I hope this is not too much to ask, but I am being rushed to get thi
done, and I am totally lost.
