summary progress

In the tracking gantt view, what is the summary progress bar showing. In
other words what is summary progress? Is it % complete, % work complete, or
something else.

It's % complete but you can change that as you want : Format / Bar styles
Click the Text tab. inthe "Right" cell, choose another field.

In that tab there is a choice fot "summary progress" and "% complete" and
when I graph both of these as two seperate bars with the same data they are
not always the same
