Summary task Constraint type

What determines the constraint type of a summary task?? The project
summary task in my file only has three choices. I would like to make it
"as soon as possible" but it is not available. Any one have any ideas?

If you set the Schedule From option to "Project Finish Date" in the Project
Information dialog (click Project - Project Information), then the only
choices for constraints on a summary task are:

As Late as Possible
Finish No Later Than
Start No Earlier Than

If you set the Schedule From option to "Project Start Date" in the Project
Information dialog, then the only choices for constraints on a summary task
are:

As Soon as Possible
Finish No Later Than
Start No Earlier Than

Therefore, as you might surmise, the contraint options for a summary task
are controlled by the Schedule From setting in the Project Information
dialog. I am not aware of any way to change this behavior. Hope this
helps.
