Summary task rollup data

Hello All,

When I format a custom field is there a way I can prevent any data
rolling up to the summary task? Even though I select no calculation
for task summary rows, there is always a default value at the summary
task level. When using specific values in a customized text field for
instance, it doesn't make sense to rollup any data to the summary
level.

Any thoughts?
