summary time of all subtask is not equal to time of main task

In some of my projects I noticed strange behaviour:
times of subtasks don't equals the duration of main task. It can be seen on
PWA page and also in Project Pro.
For example:
subtask1 1 day
subtask 2 1 day
subtask 3 1 day
whole task 21 days !!!

So, 1+1+1=21 ?

The Duration of a summary task is calculated from the start of the earliest
subtask to the finish of the latest subtask. As you have surmised, the
Duration of a summary task is not merely the sum of each subtask's Duration.
