Summing hours and minutes in excess of 24 hours

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of summing hours and
minutes, and displaying them as ONLY hours an minutes
without changing into days as well?
I have Office 2003. I used to do this with Office 97,
way back, but have lost the paperwork I got, with this
huge great formula listing on it. I was told then, that
it was going to be incorporated into the new versions of
Office. I haven't seen it.
Can anyone help please?
