Hi,
I want to count the number of times the contents of each cell in ColC occur
in column B for each sort in column A.

e.g.
Col A Col B Col C

Oran BK BK
Oran BK HL
Oran JU JU

Gree JU
Gree HL
Gree BK

Help!

Perhaps this in a spare column, and fill down:

=SUMPRODUCT(--(C1=$B$1:$B$7),--(A1=$A$1:$A$7))

I tried your suggestion but i got only zero(0) answers.
Any thing else i can try?

Hmm, it worked for me exactly as advertised using your example data. Is
your real data layout different?
