superscript and subscript simultaneously

Does PowerPoint 2003 allow simultaneous superscript and subscript, creating
two vertical rows to the right of the character you want to do this to?

No. But there are an unlimited number of layers available. Does it
absolutely HAVE TO BE in the same text box?
