Superscripts & subscripts on the same base

D

DAVID FELLER

Is there a way in Word 2000 to have both a superscript and a subscript on
the same letter?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I haven't tried this, but it might work.

Select the character you to sub or super, choose fonts from the tool bar and
check the appropriate check box that shows on the drop down menu.

I have tried this. It sort of works, but the one I sub or super second is
offset from the base.

The Equatation manager has a feature for this. Insert - Object..etc...
