What OS are you using? What Fax Software are you using? Do you have an analog modem? If yes, have you looked at the included software with your modem for Fax software (most do include something, no matter how lame)?

To fax from a computer, it has to be fitted with an analogue modem, and you
have to be in possession of fax software..

HP MX 705 is the model designation of your monitor..
