Suppressing Microsoft Security Message

[Dave_security_problem]

I am building a new server using server 2003 enterprise in
which Home grown company VB code running on that system
needs to access the Outlook Client address book on that
box and send out emails.

It is failing because of the security updates for Outlook
causing the message "A program is trying to access email
addresss you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow
this ?

The older system I am replacing does not do this. Is
there a registry hack that will remove the security update
that has been applied ?

If you're using Outlook 2000, you'd need to roll back to SR-1a -- basically,
uninstall Outlook and reinstall with only SR-1a applied thereafter. Outlook
2002 and 2003 have the security built-in. However, you might wish to look
into rewriting the VB code to get around the security prompts. See
