Hello,

Can anyone tell as how do I create surrogate timesheet ( which specific
permission to be given?)

Thanks

Assuming you have not messed with the default permissions in Project Server
2007, you only need to add the manager to the Resource Managers group. If
you have messed with the permissions in either this Group or the My
Resources category, then all bets are off. Hope this helps.

Dale,

Then it means Surrogate Timesheet works in Project Server 2007. But
currently I am working on 2003. So I may not get this permission, right?

Instead in 2003, Can the Project Manager update his team members timesheet
using PWA through Resources -> Adjust Actuals ->?

Thanks

If you are using Project Server 2003, you cannot use surrogate timesheets,
as this feature is only available in Project Server 2007. And yes, you can
use the Adjust Actuals feature in Project Server 2003 to allow a PM or RM to
adjust his/her resource's timesheets. Hope this helps.
