Swap PST between 2 PCs

When I was using Outlook XP, I could move PSTs between
PCs easily (desktop and laptop). Since migrating to 2003,
after I move the PST and fire up Outlook, it downloads
messages from the server that it already downloaded.

I have it set to leave messages on the server for 1 day -
I need to do that so a Blackberry device can pick them up
too. But it's annoying to look thru all the last day's
messages and delete duplicates

Any ideas?
