I came up with an outlook Rule that effectively eliminates
my need to actively deal with the SWEN deluge of emails.
This works for me VERY WELL at work.
The Rule is as follows;
_____________________________________
Apply after the message arrives,
where my name is NOT in the To box,
Move it to the "swen mails" folder,
Except if from <my whole address book>
______________________________________
Get it? Unless it's addressed directly to ME (or CC: to
me by someone in the contact list), it's subject to this
rule. It won't eliminate other spam (well, some) and
hasn't actually moved any messages I've wanted from a
person.
I have the "swen mails" folder in a seperate .PST as
well. I'll change it eventually to just permanently
delete them, but I still feel the need to have that safety
net (even after a month) to make sure nothing non-swen/non-
spam is getting deleted.
Hope this helps out!!!!!
