Switchboard label and button not visible

I created a Switchboard with menus and submenus and it works fine. However,
when I go in to add a button, it is not visible on the Switchboard in normal
view, but the label and the button show in design view. I have gone through
and made sure that the properties are the same as the other labels and
buttons but I can't make it work. Does anyone have any idea why this is
happening?

Are you using A2007 if so is the database in a trusted folder???

If not are you adding options using the switchboard manager, and how many
buttons would this make, I am not sure as have not used them for ages but I
think there is a limit
