Switchboard Manager not functioning

I have created a set of switchboards using form design, and I have got them
to work fine using the Startup settings, but Switchboard Manager doesn't
recognise them. And if I try using Switchboard Manager to create switchboards
they don't show up anywhere - not in any Startup settings or in the Database
Window or anywhere else. Maybe I don't need Switchboard Manager anyway, but
I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong if it's not functioning.

You are doing nothing wrong. You do have a misunderstanding of Switchboard
Manager. The built-in switchboard manager has one form and a set of
buttons and labels. It uses a table to control the captions of the buttons
(and whether to show or hide them) and the actions associated with the
buttons. It does nothing to handle any forms you have set up unless you use
the Switchboard manager and add them to the switchboard manager's database.
You can then have it open your specific "switchboard" forms.

All in all, if your set up is working the way you want, I would avoid the
Switchboard Manager.

If they weren't created via the Switchboard Manager then I don't believe
Switchboard Manager will recognize them.
