Switchboard Password

I'm using a switchboard in Access 2007. I require a 'password' to get to the
operations which follow after clicking a particular button on the main
switchboard. I use the InputBox function to input the password, asked for
when the button is clicked, and if the typed in word is OK, the button's
function is realized.
However, the password typed in is visible to someone standing behind the
user. Is there any way to capture the key strokes of the password and
replace them on the screen with generic characters while checking the real
typed characters for the password test?
