open a adobe file from a command button

I have 3 main switchboards for 3 different applications. My question is
can/how do you create 1 switchboard to take me to 1 of the 3 applications.

Why not just a form with three command buttons to open the applications?

Have a selection in each switchboard that closes the applications and open
the first form.
